Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PicStore collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and profile photo from the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Sign in with Apple). If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive only a private relay address.
  • Profile and shipping information: phone number and shipping address that you add to your profile or enter at checkout.
  • Content you upload: photos and videos, including their metadata. Original files may contain location (GPS) data embedded by your camera.
  • Orders and payments: the products you buy, order history, and shipping details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage information: how you interact with the Service (for example, pages viewed, features used, and the referring link), associated with your account when you are signed in. This information is stored by PicStore and is not shared with third-party analytics or advertising companies.
  • Device and log information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and server logs collected automatically for security and reliability.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  1. Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  2. Process orders and deliver products.
  3. Communicate with you about your account and support requests.
  4. Protect the Service and comply with legal obligations.

3. Photo Metadata and Location Data

Your original uploads are stored as you provided them, including any location metadata, and are downloadable only by you and people you grant download access. We remove GPS and location metadata from previews, shared derivatives, and thumbnails. See our AI Photo Processing Disclosure for how automated features may process your photos.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

5. Your Privacy Choices

  • Delete your account: in the PicStore app, go to Profile → Delete account; on the web, go to Settings → Privacy. Deletion removes your account and content from the Service and revokes your sign-in sessions, including Sign in with Apple. Some records (such as orders) are kept as required by law.
  • Request a copy of your data: submit a request from Settings → Privacy or by emailing us. We will email you when your export is ready.
  • Edit your information: update your name, phone, and shipping address in your profile.
  • Emails: unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any email.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations. Certain records, such as order and consent records, are retained as required by law.

When you delete your account, your account, photos, videos, and folders are immediately removed from the Service and can no longer be accessed by you or by anyone you shared them with. We keep only the records we must retain by law.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising or cross-app tracking. We share information only:

  • With people you choose: folders and events you share are visible to the people you invite, according to the permissions you set.
  • With service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts requiring them to protect it:
    • Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, and content delivery
    • Stripe — payment processing
    • Google and Apple — sign-in
    • Resend — transactional email
  • With sellers and fulfillment partners: your name, shipping address, and order details so your order can be made and shipped.
  • As required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

8. Children

PicStore is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under that age, we will delete it. Contact us if you believe this has happened.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date and last updated date shown on this page reflect the current version.
